Response to the rude GM Mark. He seems to be a little not informed of his own hotel.

This is in fact a recent stay. With mold or mildew carpets. Who remodels with carpeting these days ? Mark, do better ! Again you are incompetent !

Beyond disgusting hotel! We will be investigating this health code violations. Much of the rooms if not all smell like Mold or mildew!

This Comfort Inn is by far the best I’ve ever stayed in! The staff was great and the breakfast was probably the best I’ve ever had and we’ve stayed all over the country using Choice Hotels. I would highly recommend this location if your ever in Traverse City, Michigan!

Very impressed by the Comfort Inn in Traverse City! We booked a trip last minute and were able to snag one of the rooms here and it was extremely clean, the hotel appeared to be remodeled, and the staff was great. We were able to take a 15 min. walk to breakfast in the morning so location was great. A little pricey in my opinion for the hotel, but overall would stay here again.

We had a fantastic experience here.. in town for a wedding. Service was amazing. Our room was huge, comfortable and really clean. Breakfast is as expected but they have a lemon water on tap available at the front desk. We got a 1:00 check out on a Monday.. probably not available on the weekends. Traverse City is expensive.. across the board but at least we had a great landing spot.

The fitness center is awesome, and the pool is great too. The staff is very friendly, and the rooms are beautifully renovated definitely one of the best Comfort Inns we have stayed at. Special thanks to Melody at the front desk for her excellent service. Highly recommend

This was the most enjoyable stay Ive had in a very long time All of the staff couldnt be more friendly and accommodating. The front desk managers never made us wait or you go looking for them, housekeeping were patient and quickly paused if we needed anything The room and the building clean and homey beautiful indoor pool and Jacuzzi were located in a central, convenient to access from all rooms. I was in town for eye surgery and
I was made to feel very secure and relaxed that I didn't want to leave We will definitely be back many times in the near future! I've never been so impressed with a hotel stay like this and we will be letting everyone know about this fine establishment

Peaceful and scenic location.
I stayed 3 nights with my husband and in laws, which meant we had both available suites booked by us.
We were aware ahead of time that guests would be unable to access the kitchen but did not anticipate some of the quirks like specific times for coffee and 1 towel per guest (able to procure an additional towel for hair drying- thank you).
We ended up spending less time at the B&B during the day than anticipated due to it feeling warm inside- home has air conditioning that is set to a central thermostat and some windows are available.
This was a great location for us to stay from which to explore Traverse City and the Lelanau Peninsula.

Our stay at A Breath of Heaven was amazing! Scott & Laurie were very kind and responded quickly when needed. Our room, as well as the rest of the home, was spotless and cozy and made me feel as if I was in a cabin in the mountains. The coffee and breakfast was delicious. My absolute favorite part of their bed & breakfast is the library, tucked away in a homey loft. We will definitely be staying again!

Tucked away in a peaceful corner of Traverse City, A Breath of Heaven Bed & Breakfast is an absolute delight. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with a warmth and hospitality that instantly made us feel at home. The house itself is a beautiful and immaculately kept home, with a charm that perfectly blends classic elegance with cozy comfort. Our room was a serene retreat, spotlessly clean and thoughtfully decorated with plush linens and all the amenities one could need. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep after a day of exploring the area. And of course, the breakfast! Each morning was a culinary treat. 10/10 I would highly recommend.

We arrived an hour early after driving unfamiliar roads in our rental car. Called to let them know we were here because we had nowhere else to go. Said that we had no problem waiting on their porch till 4:30p. They were clearly irritated before we got in their door.

Mr. Proprietor.
Update your website pictures to show that your back deck, with lovely view is not accessible unless you rent the upgrade room and that the kitchen and all services are not available. If Michigan law prevents your guest from using the kitchen or any of it's amenities, then why show it to solicit your potential guest on your website.

You now have a sign on your sliding glass door that says "Please do not open sliding door to deck". Your website shows a picture of unobstructed access to that same sliding glass door and deck. You have a clear responsibility to provide more accurate info. within web presentation and before you request any deposit or cc info.

Thank you for your solution to our early morning coffee request. The airport's coffee was better then yours.

My husband and I had a phenomenal time at Breath of Heaven BnB! Scott and Laurie were so hospitable and really made us feel like we were staying with family.

The grounds are absolutely gorgeous (pictured) and the inside of the house is equally as beautiful, clean, and well-kept.

Scott made us delicious breakfast each morning and made sure coffee was aplenty for us coffee-fanatics! He was sure to ask of any food restrictions right off the bat, which is thoughtful. He was truly so kind, took the time to get to know us, and gave us tons of recommendations for our stay. We were so sad to leave but are already planning on going back soon!

You cannot beat the service, location, and company!! We can’t wait to stay with Breath of Heaven again and seriously already miss Traverse City. 🙂

Three day, two night stay began with arriving 20 minutes early to check in and being told there was a $25 charge to check in "early". Then found one towel and one wash cloth for two day stay and had to ask for extra towels. Also, was in need of an iron for wrinkled clothes (attending a formal event) and was met by surprise and shock..."oh, no...we cannot do that" was the response. Last but not least, the unholy amount of "vine weavels" (bugs) in the room, specifically the bathroom. When I advised the host, I simply got a response of, "thanks for letting us know".
My first experience with a Bed & Breakfast....hoping that not all the B&B's are the same. Would not recommend.
