We were finishing up breakfast and they promptly at 9: 00am. They turn the lights off in the dining room and announced to everyone that they needed to leave the dining area. There was guests that just came in to eat, they probably walked in 15 minutes before that. They had to throw their food away or take it to their rooms. I have never been in a hotel that they've thrown you out of the breakfast area.

Yes, I recommend anybody to go to that hotel. I love it. It’s beautiful service is good. The room was beautiful. The pool was very warm and the hot tub was also good. Fix the problem and our room with the Jacuzzi. It wasn’t working threw me off. it was me and my wife birthday, but we still enjoy yourself and the breakfast was good. Just mad. I didn’t get the chance to take a picture of the breakfast. Oh yeah also the security at night was very professional. He comes about to check on everybody’s car every 15 minutes sorry every 10 minutes and is very quiet. There’s a lot of restaurants around the area. You have Texas roadhouse that we went for the first time right down the block you have Walmart whole bunch of stuff. So to me that location that we stay at I rated to 1000

Hotel is in a great location, right off the highway but no highway noise. Staff is responsive and helpful. Rooms are clean and modern. Water pressure is good and the hot water is just about endless. I'll stay here again when I visit San Antonio.

Everything was clean! Housekeeping was thorough. Plenty of towels were provided. The in-room whirlpool was working and clean. The decor was modern. The breakfast was very good--multiple waffle stations, biscuits, potatoes, eggs, sausage, yogurt, multiple coffee/creamer options, juice, and more. I saw lots of families coming and going. The only disadvantage was that parking spots seemed rather limited; we had a hard time finding a spot on a Saturday night. Would stay here again though!

Great room, very clean. Love the tile vs the carpet. Breakfast was good.
The Bad.....my truck as was the one next to me was broken into. Between $5k-$6k damage on mine alone. I understand the hotel has no liability, but the young man I spoke too could not have cared less. Pointed to the sign outside and said file a police report. Then when we checked out Sunday morning, he barely looked up and grumbled. Certainly does not need to be the face of the hotel. Should be working in the kitchen. If you drive a truck, back it in on the sidewalk and park near the door.

We had to move 3 times! The 1st room we were in was INFESTED with cockroaches! My daughter had a roach walk across her pillow! We asked them to spray and clean the room. They made excuses and was slow to act. They cleaned but did not spray. Then there was a mouse size TARANTULA climbing up the wall! They were unresponsive. When someone finally came to the room they refused to come in. They were rude and gave us attitude! They put us in a temporary room at 2 in the morning. They did not help us and we paid for a 2 bedroom and they gave us a 1 bedroom. All this completely destroyed our plans for the next day. The next day it took them hours to move us to another room. They did help us move this time. They don't have anyone working in the reception at night anymore and they are completely unresponsive at night now. We have been going here for the past 11 years and never experienced anything like this before. This was the worst experience by far that we ever had at a resort and we have 25 years of experience.
The kids zone was closed and the poolside bars were closed. The sauna was out of order. They showed a movie outside for kids and the first half of the movie was shown in the daylight and couldn't be seen.

I can’t imagine that anyone would ever return here a second time. Where do I start:

There’s no breakfast. Literally no breakfast. And coffee is unavailable until 8:30am.

Nothing opens until 8am. If you are a morning person or have children that wake early and get hungry or want to swim you will not want to stay here.

The guest bracelet and towel system is logistically untenable. It’s a nightmare.

If you like to eat food after 8pm or plan to arrive late or want a cocktail after sunset you will not want to stay here.

The hotel staff doesn’t want to work here. Answers are brief and barely met with eye contact, even if you’re smiling and asking questions (eg “where can we get a coffee?”) in a friendly way.

Checkout is at 10am (?!?!) yet nothing opens until 8:30. Gotta thread the needle to have any joy on that morning.

Oh yea - there were cockroaches in the pool towels.

Look at the photo I uploaded. “Watch the sunrise” at 8:30am hahaha

We stayed here for the pool and lazy river, both were great! Room was clean and nice, area was quiet. Did the time share presentation for free Sea World tickets. It was 2 hours long and worth it to us for the free tickets. Told them no and was not met with hostility. Restaurant seemed too expensive so we drove to get our meals. There was a list of activities, but majority of them cost extra money. We had an issue with our mini fridge and maintenance was out right away even though it was 9:30pm. We would stay here again if we ever go back to San Antonio.

We had a great time.... I think our room was haunted, every time we left and came back a drawer was open. And we were very aware of the tarantulas and raccoons. Great location. Lazy pool is cool. It's very laid back in my opinion very family oriented. Celebrated my granddaughters 1st bday with family from all over Texas.

The studio we rented was bigger than my very first apartment and was the perfect size for our family of four. The amenities were nice and well maintained.
Each building has an elevator which comes in handy when loading and unloading your luggage. The rooms have everything you could possibly need for your stay.
The only cons: the water pressure in the shower is extremely low.
You can hear everything loudly from the neighboring rooms, everything from the shower running to cabinets closing. Other than that it's a great place to stay at.

Superior customer service from check-in to check out. Beautiful resort. Grounds are immaculate. Easy parking. The pool was crystal clear and the perfect temperature all day long. There's no "bad spot" in the seating areas around the pool. Every spot is perfect with chairs to lay out on and a personal umbrella per four chairs. Ability to order food and drinks directly from your seating area. Food and drinks are brought directly to you. Rooms were also very clean with lots of space. Each room has a private porch with a seating area, a table, and even a ceiling fan with lighting. Lots of family-oriented activities, including movie nights and smores. Can't wait to to back!!!!

We just got back from a four-night stay and I can honestly say we had a great time. Check in was super easy! I was a little nervous about going to get the parking pass from the timeshare people, but it was no big deal. I said "no" to the invitation to learn about the timeshare and they didn't push any further. We stayed in one of the buildings right behind the lobby and I feel it was the perfect location. The walk to the pools, workout room and lazy river were short and really pretty. Our 2B2BA room was nice. We loved that there was a washer & dryer and a fully stocked kitchen with all cooking necessities. The beds were comfortable, and the air worked great. We wished the water pressure in the showers were stronger but overall we were fine. Every staff member we encountered was friendly, especially the staff outside at the pools. I would definitely come back to this resort if we are in the area again.
