At the hotel for the first time, there was a wary attitude towards classic interiors. But in vain, the furniture is new, the carpets are clean, the towels and linens are snow-white. The bed is like fluff, you plunge into a cloud and sleep until 10 am without waking up. The breakfasts are delicious, the staff are helpful. I

Decided to spend for a 5 night stay at the Mandarin Oriental and so far we are having an amazing and very comfortable experience. From the moment we arrived, the staff greeted us warmly and made us feel special, helping with our luggage and making check-in quick and easy. The lobby is beautiful and smells so nice, with a calm and elegant atmosphere that already makes you feel relaxed.

Our room is unique because it is triangle shaped, which makes it feel extra special and gives us such an interesting layout. It is large, spotless, and designed with so much detail. The bed is incredibly comfortable with soft sheets and pillows, and the view from the windows is stunning, especially at night when the city lights up. The bathroom feels like a spa with a big bathtub, luxury toiletries, and soft towels. Everything in the room feels high quality and well taken care of.

The service so far has been top level, with staff always ready to help and making sure we have everything we need. Every little detail feels thought out to make our stay perfect. Spending a few nights here feels like a real treat and I’m very happy with the choice. Thank you to the whole Mandarin Oriental team for making our stay feel so special and relaxing.

I usually go to the spot the man doing an Oriental. It’s lovely. I’ve gotten really really good massages there recently. I had Maria. She was wonderful. The amenities in the spa are beautiful.

The hotel itself is actually beautiful. They have a great lobby restaurant bar that overlooks the city. It’s truly you feel like you’re in New York iconic.

This place is absolutely worth every penny. The property is beautiful and well maintained and the food is delicious. The service is what makes this hotel though. The staff is so accommodating and friendly - one of the few places that offers an elevated experience without being stuffy. The small things they do make a difference- for example they serve breakfast until 1130 and even then if you run late they will still allow you to order slightly past that. The restaurant hostess made sure we got moved to the window table we wanted though it was not available when we first sat down. She also remembered me the next day snd pointed me to where my mom had already sat down. Front desk staff was also so pleasant to interact with. These things make a huge difference in a world where most hotels have become so rigid in their policies that they have totally forgotten about the guest experience. Their spa is also top notch and offers the same level of attentiveness. We will definitely be back. Thanks for an amazing experience.

Stayed at the Mandarin Oriental in New York, and it honestly felt like a little escape above the city. The views from the room were insane — waking up to Central Park and the Hudson River right outside the window was surreal.

The room was calm, super comfy, and had that quiet luxury vibe without being over the top. Everything just worked — from the bed to the shower to the little details. We had dinner at MO Lounge one night, and it was actually really good (not just “hotel good”).

Also, the staff were on point — always there when you needed something, but never too much. If you want a quiet but top-notch place in the middle of Manhattan, this is it.

Just stayed at the Mandarin Oriental NYC and honestly? It was next-level. From the second I walked in, the energy was luxury but not in a cold, intimidating way—it felt warm, elevated, and super welcoming.

Our room was stunning. Spotless, beautifully designed, and those floor-to-ceiling views of Central Park? Unreal. Like, I caught myself just staring out the window like I was in an HBO drama. Everything was so thoughtfully done—from the lighting to the tech to the little details that made it feel more like a sanctuary than a hotel.

What really stood out, though, was the service. Every staff member I spoke to was kind, attentive, and just got it. No awkwardness, no fake smiles—just genuine hospitality that made the whole experience feel even more special. Room service came fast and was actually delicious (rare!).

Whether you’re visiting NYC for a special occasion or just feel like romanticizing your life for a few days, this place absolutely delivers. 10/10 would stay again.

Really nice and helpful stuff. The hotel is near everything and everywhere. We walked back and forth to the Central Park, the central park zoo, the museum of natural history, the king kong's building, the central station building and many other places. Planning to come back next year.

had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The staff was incredibly professional and welcoming from the moment I arrived. They kindly accommodated an early check-in, which made a big difference after a long trip. The hotel itself was beautiful and well-maintained, and our room was spacious, and comfortable. Everything about the experience was smooth and enjoyable. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to others!

I was walking around new york for the first time for my birthday as i started to feel very unwell. Me and my mom needed to find a quick place to sit and the people here had no issue with me and her sitting in the lobby for as long as we needed. They asked if i was okay constantly and offering water if i needed any. I’m extremely grateful for the staff helping me out making sure I was safe. I did not stay in this hotel, but I can tell this is a great place by the surroundings and people working there. Thank you!!

One of the best hotel experiences I've had. Service and level of detail was top notch. They had 2 connecting rooms for us and it was much more like a2 bedroom suite! Front desk is excellent. We were greeted with a peninsula teddy bear for each of my kids with their names written on the bears outfit with a balloon. When we came back in the evening there was bear chocolates with my kids names on those too. They had robes and slippers in kids sizes for us too. Beds were super comfortable. Rooms were full of tech. Perfect location. Couldn't recommend it more! Absolutely beautiful and can't wait to go back
