The hotel itself was beautiful, and I loved the location. The staff was very friendly and welcoming, which I appreciated. However, for the amount of money I paid, I was a little disappointed with my stay.

The pool was advertised as heated, but it was barely warm — we ended up freezing and couldn’t enjoy it. After that, we decided to relax and watch TV, but the television didn’t even work, so we had to stream from our phones instead. In the morning, I was looking forward to coffee, but the machine in the room wasn’t working either.

The biggest letdown for me was that the hot tub was under renovation. That was actually the main reason I chose this hotel, so it was really disappointing not to have access to it.

I would consider staying here again because the place is lovely and the staff was great, but only if these issues were addressed.
You might want to call ahead and ask, I would stay here again, however next time I’ll make sure these things were fixed.

We spent a night during our tour of Michigan 2 weeks ago. Hotel was clean and staff was friendly. Restaurant on the water behind was wonderful. My only complaint was the Heating/cooling system. It kept the room plenty cool considering how hot it was outside but man was it loud. To top it off, it kicked on every 15 minutes and was as loud as running a vacuum cleaner in the room. Not a very restful sleep with this thing waking you up all night.

Quick one night stay and it did the job. The rooms and hallways all seemed very outdated/dark and not very welcoming. Staff was friendly and it was clean for the most part. For the price, it would be nice to have a better view or breakfast offered. We did the suite and it had a tiny TV by the bed so had to watch TV from the bed vs. The chairs in there. The fireplace was part of our room deal but didn't work. We got a view of the parking lot and buildings for paying over $200 for a suite room.

We loved our stay! We were close to everything and the trails around were so nice! We love going for a little walks and this was the perfect location. Our room was very clean and the staff were so nice. If you are in the area I definitely recommend this hotel! I wish we could’ve stayed longer!

The hotel rooms are fabulous! We got a room with a balcony and the view is so beautiful!

Jordan at the desk was super helpful and friendly! We got a regular room and after seeing it my husband wanted a room with a balcony. Not because there was anything wrong with the 1st room, just he wanted a balcony.

This is our 20th anniversary and we made a mistake booking a room online with someone else, so to get a room here and how beautiful the hotel and rooms are is amazing.

My first time in this area and I absolutely loved it !!
My room was spectacular, the view , the unexpected whirl pool bathtub. And spotless clean. Very spacious.
The bar/ restaurant is equally nice. I'll give a shout out to Skyler!! So kind and genuine. I loved talking with him over a mimosa in the morning. He is a true gem 💎
I will definitely be back !!

The only positive thing I can say is it’s not the worst hotel I have stayed in, but definitely top three. Room wasn’t very clean, from the half of pizza crust in corner, broken/missing bathroom tile, stained curtains, looked like mirrors wiped down with dirty towels, room fridge barely keeps cool and less than half outlets worked. The fitness center was equally gross and the pool was filled with sand and hair. Zero curb appeal, looks abandoned besides the multiple over flowing garbage cans. Breakfast is all carbs and sugar, coffee was super watered down. If you’re looking for a place that host ‘hills have eyes’ folks and easy access to the expressway then this is your place. Customer service was great, they are doing what they can.

Front desk person 5 star. Clean towels (soft), clean pillowcases and sheets. Room was clean with abundant lighting. Easy access from the highway. Parking on both sides. All room windows face a parking lot. Definitely would stay there again.

I love that it's tucked away . Downside I didn't see a elevator, indoor pool looked beautiful however it's smaller . For the price of 188 I was expecting nicer room BUT because of the customer service being 5 star I won't complain to much other than the fact our room was dirty bathroom had boogers on the wall , bed smelled like dirty bed head , I was so mad I couldn't sleep and had to be on the move by 530 , went down for breakfast and they offered no hot breakfast because they don't have a kitchen ! I complained to the front desk before leaving I really hope they do better for others especially for what they charge . Next time I would rather just sleep on the beach !
