We booked the king bed suite and requested the top floor. The hotel has 3 floors, elevator, guest washer/dryer (for a fee), vending machines, fitness center, pool with a small grill area (but no hot tub), daily breakfast, and complimentary cookies.

For breakfast they served eggs, sausage, either biscuits or hash brown patties, grits, coffee, juices, tea, hot and dry cereal, waffles

The room was decent size. The couch is a pullout. The TV was a good size with basic cable (we brought our firestick so we connected that using their Wi-Fi). Good shower, clean rooms!! Also inside was a mini fridge and microwave. There isn't much drawer and closet space.

Customer service was amazing!! Very friendly and helpful. The outside area was just as safe and quiet as inside the hotel.

There is a $75 deposit to pay if you use cash. If you use a card, they just hold on to your card number until check out (no money is taken out).

There are restaurants and bars in walking distance, and other stores less than 1 mile away.

Overall, if I come back to Jacksonville, I would stay here again!!

STAY AWAY, STAY HILTON!! Certainly have a bed bug issue! Stayed 8/23/25. Was in bed ready to sleep, until I was greeted face-to-face by a VERY large bed bug! Once the front desk was made aware, Raj was pretty unphased, not offering any help, nor a refund, I had to insist. Then Tiki -not so nice- Burton was not very receptive of the issue when brought to her attention. So much so she turned into Tiki - hang up on costumers - Burton. STAY AWAY, STAY HILTON!!

I was traveling for work in this area for three weeks, and the hotel staff was super nice to me. The two times I needed help with my room, they automatically offered me another one, and that was worth a lot because the service was very nice. For that, I thank them and recommend it.

Very nice and clean place. Im not sure if I dealt with a manager or owner every morning, but he was very congenial. It has the typical continental breakfast from 6am - 9am. There was tractor trailer or other large truck parking as well. Over all, I would definitely visited again.

Booked from an online site. After booking, read the Google reviews and honestly got nervous. Was very happy that we had no issues at all. Room was good. No noise issues at all. Breakfast was great and staff was very friendly. You can’t beat it for the price

I have come to this location many times for family reasons and there is a reason I have come many times just because the service is great. The rooms are good as far as the staff and the breakfast top-notch.
From Miss Moon To everybody else who helps that place stay clean and welcoming for somebody like myself to wanna come back again
If this is a privately held place versus corporate, I hope the owners know the staff they have are very hard-working individuals and one of the other reasons I come back
Thank you again see you in the future

We stayed at this location on 9/3/25 due to being close to UF Proton and my husband being a patient. Melissa at the front desk and Tina the breakfast hostess were excellent and from there our visit went down hill rapidly. I believe the first room we were assigned to was 116. Upon opening the door the dog stench was unbearable, took my breath away, I am allergic to dogs. My husband left for a meeting and while he was gone I sat by the pool and then the lobby. Stayed out of room. When he returned to the room he came to the lobby to get me and said pack up this is ridiculous. Melissa offered room 226 (I believe). Still smelled of dog but was bearable. We went to Target and got some plugins (which we left) to help with the stench. The next morning my husband decided not worth breathing in dog odors and we checked out at noon, we were gone all morning. Why doesn’t Hampton set aside specific floors for people and their “service animals”. I’ve gotten to the point where I dislike dogs because over the past few years, seems like all dogs are now “service animals” they are allowed everywhere. We have been staying at Hampton for years and they now cater to dogs. Had to wash ALL the clothes we took. Just like smoking, the cigarette smell penetrates clothing just like dog stench. As for the pool, no towels, the container for the towels had a beer can and water in the bottom. Very upsetting, will NEVER return to this location unless management can figure it out, not everyone likes the stench of dog or eating next to one.
I find it interesting with all the reviews, nothing is written about the dog stench.

Breakfast was limited but good. Tina was our breakfast server and she was amazing!!! She created an atmosphere that made everyone in the room feel like family. She is perfect for the job!

Beds are very comfortable- front desk staff was very pleasant.

What really makes this stay worth 5 starts was the employees. Everyone was super friendly and inviting. From the front desk on check in, to the breakfast ladies, to the maintenance gentleman who offered to help us in our room because our hands were full from the complimentary breakfast! Really can't thank the staff enough for making our stay awesome and for making us feel welcome.
Super convenient/close to the Stadium.
The room was clean. Missing a nightstand but we were only here for the night so not a huge deal.

This hotel was nice and clean. Good location central to many places to eat. City Grille across the street was amazing - recommend a reservation. The staff was all so kind and helpful! We couldn’t stop talking about it how awesome everyone was. Tina was especially a delight to see each morning! She made each breakfast feel like we were at a diner and not a boring hotel breakfast bar!

This hotel was very nice and clean. The lobby scent was overwhelming when entering to check in. Smelled really good, but extremely strong and gave me a headache. I would consider this a luxury hotel because everything was charged separately. No breakfast included, parking not included. Prices for breakfast or any kind of food I felt was a little pricey. However, the staff was extremely friendly and had all kind of recommendations. We chose this hotel because of the proximity to the children’s hospital and was within our military travel budget at the time. Our son needed surgery and the lady at the desk was nice enough to give us a slightly bigger room than the one we booked so he’d be more comfortable. That alone would make me want to rebook here. The pool and hot tub was also very clean and big.

This is my second review. The staff in this hotel is fabulous.
This morning we had the pleasure to have a nice breakfast (those waffles are good!) and the wonderful lady who was tending to the whole breakfast buffet (by herself!) was doing an incredible job. She made sure everything was refilled as needed and kept everything clean and tidy while crowds of weekenders served themselves to breakfast. Well done Peaches! You sure are a hard worker! Very efficient
