These people are shady and the rooms are dirty. We had 2 rooms for 1 night. They charge a refundable deposit that i was unaware of and had booked ahead online under no cancelation. So I put deposit on a different card. Well they charged me for both rooms on both cards. The next morning they removed the extra room fee. However a week later there's still a deposit hold on my bank account and they are arguing they have released the hold. Save the hassle find somewhere nicer and honest.

I checked in with a stained towel. Asked for a new one, they didn’t have anymore. How!?

The rooms are clean, and the staff was friendly and helpful. The room was a bit humid. The ac took a while to cool the room down. The fridge didn't get very cold even after turning it down. But overall, it was a nice place that felt safe. We would stay again.

Small room. Comfortable bed. Good TV. I did kill one bug on bathroom floor, but could not find anymore including mattress seams. Friendly knowledgeable and helpful staff. Breakfast was good. Waffles, sausage, potatoes, scrambled eggs, boiled eggs, different breads, juice, milk, cereal.

Microwave was not cleaned. The fitted sheet was put on sideways...not sure how but it was. The hair dryer didn't work. The breakfast was...not great. I've been to many Best Westerns and usually satisfied. For this one, there were no forks out, there was no juice in the machine, the waffle batter took a realllly long time to fill the cup to begin cooking. Coffee was good, creamer available. Pool was cold, multiple people came in and left after testing the temp. There were no towels ready to be used. Just... lots of little frustrating things. Staff was nice.

Our club volleyball team recently stayed at the Best Western Port Columbus, and it was an utterly dreadful experience.

The hotel was absolutely disgusting! The general cleanliness of the hotel is abysmal, with cigarette stains and bathroom doors falling off their hinges.

The rooms were cramped and the beds were incredibly uncomfortable. On both Saturday and Sunday morning, there was not enough breakfast available, leaving many of our guests without a meal.

The cleanliness of the rooms was appalling; one of our rooms had a clogged toilet upon check-in, which was extremely unpleasant. We also found bugs in the showers, which is simply unacceptable.

The back door of the hotel was not locked, posing serious safety concerns. Seven cars, including five from our team, were broken into overnight. Car alarms were heard all night, but the front desk did not notify the police. When we tried to address the break-ins with management, they offered no solutions, showing a complete lack of accountability and customer service. They were indifferent, claiming "several cars were broken into in the area" and "the police are investigating."

We also experienced multiple instances of room keys not working on both Friday and Saturday nights. In response, we were given "master" keys to the hotel to serve as our room keys, which is highly concerning.

Additionally, we requested towels on several occasions, only to be told that we needed to bring down our dirty towels so they could be laundered and then brought back to us. Some guests were even told there were no towels available at all.

If I could give it less than 1 star, I would.

Overall, our stay at the Best Western Port Columbus was an absolute nightmare, and we do not recommend this hotel to anyone.

We were apprehensive, but the location to the Endoscopy Center sold us. The room was clean, staff was helpful, and efficient. Breakfast had eggs, sausage, waffles etc. We had everything we needed in the room. Tim Hortons and Subway are within walking distance

Hotel is under construction. I would not stay there. In fact, I would not stay at any property managed by Modern Management Company. If they allow this at one property, I would think all of thier properties are sub-standard.

Avoid at all costs. Terrible carpets, scuffs/marks everywhere in room, bad coffee, construction noise throughout, unsavory characters/guests in the motel. I cancelled and booked at nearby Crowne which was cheaper AND better!

This hotel is in a great location and was close to where my son played basketball, which is why we stayed here. But other than the locaton it was the worst hotel experience I have ever had. Not clean at all, holes in the walls, no artwork on the walls allowed you to see the stains running down the walls. There were huge holes in the back of the backroom doors and showers were not clean. The carpet looked like it had never been cleaned. The washer and dryer were used the entire time we were there by Road Crew Construction workers. They also thought 11 p.m. was a great time to vacuum the hallways. Breakfast was very plain with little variety. BOOK ANYWHERE BUT HERE!

BLUF: Despite the valiant efforts of the day-to-day cleaning staff, this hotel is old, smelly, and broken-down. Don’t stay here.

Details: I spent one fitful night here while tending to a relative at Saint Ann’s Hospital. It is the only walkable hotel from the hospital. It was cheap, under $100/night. It is apparently also popular: when I checked in, the clerk at the front desk was on the phone telling a potential guest that they were booked solid for the weekend. While I’m giving the short list of pros, let me also add that the sheets were clean, the bed was well made, the towels were clean and creatively folded, and the coffee basket stocked. At the same time, this hotel still provided small vials of shampoo, conditioner, body wash, mouthwash, and two bars of soap. These were neatly arranged; testimony to the cleaning staff’s commitment to play a catchy tune on the deck of this obviously sinking ship. What they really spoke to, I think, was ownership’s decision in the distant past not to invest anything in this hotel—even in the wall-mounted soap and shampoo dispensers that so many chains have added to reduce supply costs.

Now let’s get to the problems. The hotel smells bad. Someone was smoking weed in another room on the way to my room. My room (137) smells bad. The paint is peeling. The chest drawer handles are broken. The sheets and blankets are thin. Ants are crawling on the nightstand. The bathroom door doesn’t shut. All the lightbulbs are the drabbest sickening yellow compact fluorescent. Where the paint is not peeling, the previous painters did not use tape, so every outlet and fixture has paint on it; the sink has paint drops on it. The AC in the gym doesn’t work. The treadmill in the gym doesn’t work (I went for a run outside). There are no towels in the towel cabinet of the gym (Am I the only one who uses hotel gyms?!). The whole experience was like a hotel stay crafted by a knowledgeable enemy bent on making me miserable.

Room was neat and clean. TV channels did not match the correct cable channels. Bed was soft. Friendly staff. Breakfast was good. I had orange juice, bagel, biscuit and gravy. Convenient to I270.

I gave this one star only because a negative star rating isn't available! Worst hotel experience ever!!!! HORRIBLE MANAGEMENT!!! TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! I booked this hotel back in November for May 7-11 for my daughter and her bf, for 4 nights, prepaid, and got a confirmation for a guaranteed reservation. My daughter tried calling the hotel on May 6th and got no answer. She then called the Ramada reservation line and was told her reservation was canceled! My daughter was so upset! I called Priceline and they told me the reservation was still active in their system. I asked them to contact the hotel to confirm and they couldn't get anyone to answer the phone at the property. They called the Ramada reservation line and was also told that the reservation was canceled. I called the customer service line with Ramada and they basically said there was nothing they could do. They put me through to the property manager/hotel manager, who was extremely rude! She tried to tell me that my reservation was canceled due to damage. I asked if the entire hotel was damaged and she said "No, just some rooms." I said since my prepaid reservation was made 6 months ago, it should have been at the top of the list for an available room. She kept arguing that no rooms were available. When I said we were never notified of the cancelation and neither was Priceline, she said I would be getting an email in a day or 2. I said the reservation is for tomorrow, so that isn't very helpful! When I said what she was doing was illegal and that I would be speaking to an attorney, she said they would see what they could do and then she hung up on me! DO NOT EVER, EVER BOOK THIS HOTEL!!!! THEY ARE SCAM ARTISTS!!!
