2025 review: Here for my birthday celebration because this was my favorite resort after my 2024 experience. Service at the restaurant and housekeeping less friendly this time. Waitress for dinner couldn't answer questions accurately about the menu items. Food was not good at all this time especially given the $300 price tag at Taverne. Wasn't worth $100 for dinner. And the service expected of a place like this for dinner was bad. I frequent Capital Grille and this wqa not on the level at all despite higher pricing. Place needs a look over by management. Its slipping in quality and service. Still a gorgeous and peaceful feeling property

2024 review: Beautiful property and rooms. Love the old style. Calm and relaxing grounds. Great service all around from valet front desk and other staff. The Italian restaurant we went to had great food and service. One of the best hotels I've been to and a great value for what you get.

Probably the best hotel in America. Rooms are amazing with great views. I would definitely come back. Was told there were changes since the last time I stayed here. Rooms are antique with chandeliers but don’t feel old and rundown. Doorbells in all rooms and privacy/service buttons. Housekeeping comes a lot which is great. Electric boats are available to rent too which is so fun. Pool is great being right on the lake. So many dining options.

As a wedding photographer, I’ve had the joy of documenting weddings at venues all over the country, and The Broadmoor continues to stand out as one of the most breathtaking and well-run venues I’ve worked at.

Every corner of the property is stunning, from the classic architecture to the mountain views and lush gardens. What really sets it apart is the level of care and hospitality shown by the staff. They’re truly a dream team for any couple (and vendor) to work with.

Weddings here feel elevated, timeless, and full of intention, which translates beautifully in photos. I would be absolutely honored to return and continue documenting celebrations at this iconic Colorado Springs gem!

An experience of the best resort style accommodations. Historic property with great service. It helps if you love golf but there is a nice pool for the kids with a slide and free pedal boats too. The only downside were the conference parties after hours with large crowds and music you could hear in the room.

Had the most exquisite brunch celebration. Service was impeccable, and the selection of culinary delights was expansive. The sous chef at the omelet bar may have needed a hotter burner, but it is always appreciated to be able to have dishes specifically prepared and sliced for you. Lovely done as well as any cruise line. Pricey but the location also is a huge plus.

The Broadmoor never disappoints.

I’ve been coming here since I was a kid, and now I bring my own family so they can experience the same magic. It’s the perfect mix of luxury and classic Colorado charm.

The rooms are stunning—crystal chandeliers, soft, plush everything, and even a bottle of champagne waiting for us when we walked in. You can tell they’ve thought of every detail.

The staff? Absolutely top-notch. Every single person we interacted with was warm, professional, and genuinely helpful. You feel taken care of from the moment you arrive.

The setting is unreal—gorgeous views of the Rocky Mountains across a swan-filled lake that looks like a postcard. It’s peaceful, elegant, and full of that upscale-yet-active Colorado vibe.

Whether you’re into hiking, golf, fly fishing, or just relaxing in a beautiful setting, The Broadmoor nails it. It’s more than just a hotel—it’s a tradition for our family now.

Absolutely terrible experience. The hotel is filthy, poorly maintained, and run by a completely unprofessional management. Rooms stink, basic amenities don’t work, and cleanliness is clearly not a priority here. Definitely not worth the money – avoid at all costs.

We had a very bad experience. We reserved a pet friendly room as we have a small dog. The first room smelled so strongly like dog poop that we asked for another. That one smelled like wet dogs but we didn’t have the energy to move again. Very dirty, animal hair all over the floor. The room felt wet (moldy perhaps?) and we were by the pool so perhaps that’s why. Pool and hot tub were cloudy and dirty. Cars road racing outside overnight, thin walls, people stomping around above our room at all hours. Hotel staff were friendly and helpful with extra towels, etc.
Overall we would not stay here again and this hotel is in need of extensive cleaning and maintenance.

Excellent location, great size rooms and very clean. Their breakfast is surprisingly good and with a good variety a full breakfast option. Service was very nice and took care of us no matter the time of the day.

It’s a cheap hotel, but the rooms are cozy and the beds are extremely comfortable. There is free breakfast and the location isn’t bad. My only negatives here are that the walls are VERY thin! I could hear others walking in the hallways and other guests in the neighboring rooms. Besides that, you pay a good price for the room. The hotel has some amenities such as a gym (one treadmill, one bench, dumbbells that go up to 45lbs), a pool and included breakfast.

Very nice location, free shuttle to and from airport, free hot breakfast (not just toast and cereal) and great prices. However the bathroom when the toilet was flushed you could smell raw sewage, after 3 days they came and cleaned (had the do not disturb sign out, thinking this would prevent this) and they took our bars of soap, the one in the shower we had only used once, and they didn't give a replacement, took bath mat and didn't give a replacement. Otherwise we had a good stay and the staff we spoke with was nothing but kind.
