About Tub In-Room

In this age of clutter, distraction and an average attention span comparable to that of a goldfish, Tub In Room was started with a single focus - helping you discover and book incredible jacuzzi suites and hotel rooms with in-room hot tubs across the US.

Before you think, "But can't I just use the filters on hotel booking websites (aggregators) or just use good ol' Google?", let me clarify that right away.

Well, it turns out, 'rooms with in-room hot tubs (i.e. within the room itself, not a shared one in some common area)' is a very niche feature, that I don't think any hotel booking website/aggregator platform/app has a specific filter for. If you use a generic 'hot tub' filter, they mostly show hotels with shared hot tubs (often outdoor ones), and half of their listings feature hotels that don't offer any kind of a hot tub. So, there's that.

Next, search engines and AI answer engines. Well, they basically feed off what's already published about hotels of a certain location, and AI answers/overviews are mostly misleading, as they can't distinguish between the presence of hot tubs in the room itself, in a common area, or whether they're even present or not! I've seen cases where Reddit users (some of them really are a piece of work!) joked about a certain hotel having private jacuzzi rooms, whereas in reality it doesn't. AI picked that up, couldn't tell it was a joke, and provided a totally inaccurate answer.

And I don't even want to get started with manually entering the Reddit/forums rabbit hole yourself, trying to find needles in that troll-filled haystack.

When me and my partner were looking for private jacuzzi suites ourselves, we were beyond frustrated due to all these reasons (barring the AI garbage, which wasn't so rampant (yet!) back then).

Ultimately, I put my website building background to some use, set this website up, and assembled a small but efficient team of travel enthusiasts, who are 100-times better at research than any automated searching/filtering solution ever will be.

We don't do anything else other than finding (mostly romantic) hotels, manually confirming the in-room hot tub availability (usually through email, phone or personal experience staying there), and curating lists of such hotels (after weeding out ones that don't meet our standards) in various locations across the US.

I'd just like to put a disclaimer: the term 'Jacuzzi' is used loosely to mean any jetted tub / in-room hot tub, since they've become synonymous with the 'Jacuzzi' brand, which is owned by the corporation of the same name. Suffice to say, we're in no way affiliated with the 'Jacuzzi' brand itself, and we're just using the word for informative purposes only.

Regarding our incentive: we get a tiny cut from hotel bookings, if you actually end up booking a room using our affiliate links. You don't pay a penny extra, nor do we get anything if you don't book a room. We're naturally incentivized to present the most accurate information for each location, because if you came searching only for hot tub-equipped hotels, and we displayed hotels that only had regular bath tubs or no tubs at all, you'd simply not click through to our affiliated hotel booking websites, let alone book a room.

This small incentive helps keep the lights on and maintains this website as a reliable, trustworthy place on the web for those of us who truly love nothing else more than the relaxation and intimacy offered by a truly private, in-room hot tub!
